On the 16th of April, the Ashford's were out teaching Tess how to ride
her bike! She was a little scared, because her bike was a little too
big. So, I took the training wheels off of Rachel's bike that is too
small to see if she wanted to try to learn on Rachel's bike. She was
still too scared from the big bike and didn't want to try.
Well, Rachel
did! So, off we went down the street with me holding Rachel's seat! One
trip down and back and Rachel had the hang of it! I think waiting until
she was almost 6 and having the bike be too small is a good thing! She
didn't fall even once! She just put her legs down any time she started
to fall!
She still needs to practice starting by herself, but she does really good after she is started!
Rebecca had fun riding her bike too!
Rachel was so proud of herself! She is turning into quite the big girl and it seems like it's happening over night!
She DEFINITELY needs to get that BIG bike she has been wanting for her birthday!
Rebecca gave up on walking her little bike! She does much better with her scooter!!!

Madi is still so not interested in learning!! We watched a video on youtube and it said to take the pedals off so we did that and still she would rather ride Maelee's trike. SIGH Someday she'll figure it out!!! Good job to Rachel!!
